Formoline L112 Review
Formoline L112 has been available for many years. It has been an ever present at quality high street chemists such as Boots and Lloyd’s pharmacy for the last few years. But interestingly (or worryingly) it seems to be no longer available.
This may not be to the products detriment more a case that the above pharmacies and chemists are getting their product profiling in order to meet with the new EU regulations that have come into place recently.

So What Is It And How Does It Work
Formoline L112 is a fat binder created to prevent a portion of the fat from your meals from being absorbed by your stomach.
When we eat food that has a high fat content the natural fibres present in the formula attach themselves to a portion of this fat to create a gelatinous mass.
The gelatinous mass is too big for our stomach to digest and so the mass passes naturally through our system without adding to our fat reserves. The unabsorbed fat passes out through our system as natures intended.
Ingredient List
β-1,4 polymer of D-glucosamine and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine derived from the shells of shellfish such as crabs. Does not contain flavour enhancers, preservatives, colouring agents, gelatine, gluten, lactose and cholesterol.
This product is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans
Formoline Dangers, Side Effects And Precautions
Nothing of any great severity has been reported or documented although one of the major ingredients (N-acetyl-D-glucosamine) is shellfish based and may cause an allergic reaction to those with and allergies to Shellfish.
Pregnant or expecting mothers should not use unless consulting with their doctor or physician.
